A&S Awards for Shaver, Klein, and Cyr-Racine

Allison ShaverUndergraduates Allison Shaver and Andrew Klein were both given ASSURE awards by the College of Arts & Sciences to pursue research projects with Assistant Professor Diana Dragomir and Professor Sally Seidel, respectively.
Allison is pursuing a BS in Astrophysics. Her project is entitled Improving the Detection of Exoplanet Transits Using Machine Learning".
Andrew is working toward a BS in Physics and will carry out his project Characterization and Performance Optimization of Trenched 3D Silicon Detectors.
Also, Associate Professor Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine received a Marshall Award for Course Development and Curriculum Enhancement by the College to redesign PHYS 301.
Congrats to all three!
